Through the use of electronic media, video, multi-channel sonic spatialization, and
various interactive processes, Ingebritsen has created a sonic language that puts the performer and audience alike in a common sonic space using the interaction between movement, sound, and space to engage his art form in new ways.. His series of electronic etudes that he refers to as Reparametrizations explore these interactive processes as well as works for chamber ensemble and electronic performers. He has composed works for groups such as International Contemporary Ensemble, members of eighth blackbird, Beta Collide, MAVerick, and Anaphora ensemble and has been performed internationally at festivals such as Sonic Impact, Oregon Bach Festival, Louisville Mini Festival, and the Audio Art Festival in Poland.
